The previous code allowed this to happen if a second call to shutdown
happened while the dialog was being displayed.

There is a new activity (LayoutTestsExecuter) added that is responsible for acutally running the tests and sending the actual results to the new
ManagerService class. This class will take over most of the functionality of the current LayoutTestsRunnerThread. At the moment
LayoutTestsRunnerThread is changed so that after computing the tests' list it sends the list to LayoutTestsExecuter. The rest of the code is
never called. It will be shifted to the service.
Current implementation of ManagerService only prints the log message on receiving the bundle with actual results from LayoutTestsExecuter.

The status in the command reply field was not initialized by Effect_command() for
EFFECT_CMD_INIT causing unpredictable failures when initializing an effect.

with a better API for this, but this is for a last minute
power manager hack to turn off the screen sooner after a
phone call ends.

This permission allows an app to use the public download manager API
to download files to the cache partition that won't be automatically
deleted when the download manager needs space.

Downloading images over a slow connection could result in errors and
null images.
The JavaInputStreamAdaptor::do_skip method was correctly called in a
loop (to handle the EOF case using read()), but the amount that was
skipped at each time was not decreased by the amount already skipped.

Previously, Sequencer did not detect child animation ending correctly, so it never sent an end event. This made it difficult to have nested sequencers.

SensorService now correctly sends the last known
state of a sensor as soon as a new connection is made.
This fixes the issue where, for instance, an application
could wait a long time before getting the light or proximity
sensor initial state.
