AFDO uses profiles collected from real world users. It is more
accurate than PGO, which is collected from running synthetic
benchmarks.

Support HDR tonemapping in TextureView
...
This reuses the HDR tonemapping curve that was used in RenderEngine,
however display-level metadata may not be aligned. But because there are
no composition changes that can cause flicker, e.g., switching rapidly
between using a TextureView and a SurfaceView, then that should be okay.
That means that the HDR tonemapping is not as high quality as it could
be, but it is much better than before.

Properly protect mFrameMetricsReporter
...
This field actually requires a special lock, mFrameMetricsReporterMutex.
But there isn't a GUARDED_BY annotation for it. And even if there was,
the compiler feature of -Wthread-safety was not active in this code, so
this error would not have been caught.
To fix this, enable the compiler annotation and add GUARDED_BY
annotation to mFrameMetricsReporter.
And finally, use this lock to properly protect this field.

libandroid_runtime & libhwui: use libstats*_lazy
...
Update libandroid_runtime and libhwui, both of which are dependencies of
bootanimation, to use listatssocket_lazy and libstatspull_lazy, which
are new static versions of libstatssocket and libstatspull. This means
that bootanimation does not depend on these libraries, which are shipped
from the statsd apex.
The change enables removing the statsd apex from the bootstrap apexes.

Change hwui jank detection to use deadline & gpu completion (1/2)

- Use GPU finish time as well as actual deadline to determine jank
rate.
- Use dynamic interval to adjust for 60/90hz switching
- Move frame metrics reporting into JankTracker to adjust the
deadline communicated to the app when in stuffing scenario.

Add MultiDisplayList + memory leak fixes
...
MultiDisplayList can contain either a SkiaDisplayList
or a CanvasOpBuffer. However DisplayList itself
still points to the SkiaDisplayList-only wrapper
to avoid any std::variant or std::visit overhead
just yet.
Also fixes a memory leak in CanvasFrontend from an
uninitialized std::optional and a few minor leaks
in unit tests.

Use InputEventAssigner to assign input to frame
...
When a frame is determined to be caused by an input event, it will be
labeled with a specific input event id. The newly added entity,
InputEventAssigner, is responsible for determining which input
event we should use.
For regular ACTION_MOVE events, we will take the latest input event as
the event that has caused the frame. For the initial gesture
(ACTION_DOWN), we will use the first event (the ACTION_DOWN itself) to
figure out the down latency. This will allow us to split up 'down' and
'scroll' latencies.

libandroid_runtime,libhwui: use libnativehelper_lazy

This change updates the dependencies of bootanimation to use a new
static library, libnativehelper_lazy, that loads libnativehelper on
demand. This means boot animation no longer depends on
libnativehelper.so. The affected frameworks libraries will load
libnativehelper lazily as-needed.
This change enables the removal of the ART APEX from the bootstrap
APEXes. The ART APEX provides libnativehelper.so and this is no longer
required during boot for bootanimation. Removing ART from the
bootstrap APEXes allows for compressing the system installed ART APEX
after an ART APEX update is applied and saves tens of megabytes of
storage.

- Add SurfaceStatsCallback to TransactionCompletedListener
- Register a callback in RenderProxy to be called when we have
surface stats from SF via the BLAST callback.
- Instead of finishing a frame for frame metrics reporting
immediately, wait until BLAST callback fires, note GPU completion
time and finish frame.
- Expose GPU_COMPLETION in FrameMetrics
- Modify TOTAL_DURATION to also include GPU_COMPLETION

libandroid_runtime,libhwui: use libnativehelper_lazy
...
This change updates the dependencies of bootanimation to use a new
static library, libnativehelper_lazy, that loads libnativehelper on
demand. This means boot animation no longer depends on
libnativehelper.so. The affected frameworks libraries will load
libnativehelper lazily as-needed.
This change enables the removal of the ART APEX from the bootstrap
APEXes. The ART APEX provides libnativehelper.so and this is no longer
required during boot for bootanimation. Removing ART from the
bootstrap APEXes allows for compressing the system installed ART APEX
after an ART APEX update is applied and saves tens of megabytes of
storage.

Revert "Create wrapper around Shader native implementation"

This reverts commit fc42a99ea5712883c9872d34a523d972c26c9d6f.
Because we are moving away from a wrapper class to delegate
between SkImageFilter and SkShader and instead adding
RenderEffect on RenderNode, this wrapper implementation
is no longer necessary. There are some behavioral
differences between SkShader and SkImageFilter that
would lead to additional complexity in conversions
between these objects and potential bugs.
To simplify this, RenderEffect will be added
directly to RenderNode to support better
caching of rasterization layers that is necessary
for various visual effects like blur.

Add TextShaper API

TextShaper API provides a primitive text layout result, e.g. what glyph is used etc.
Here is the new APIs and its description
- PositionedGlyphs
This is a native instance backed object that gives layout information to developers.
- GlyphStyle
The glyph style is an object that holds the parameters that will be used for drawing.
This object is a subset of the Paint object for avoiding creating lots of Paint copy.
- TextShaper#shapeText
This does a text shaping and gives TextShaper.Result. This is a native backed primitive
shaping API.
- StyledTextShaper
This is a text shaper for a styled text. This will be the top-level developer facing
API for shaping text.

in the framework in order to handle creation of either an
SkShader or SkImageFilter.
Updated native Paint implementation to optionally configure
the currently configured SkShader or SkImageFilter

Fix framework-graphics stub jar build rules
...
The stub jars need to be building against module_current rather than
the mix of SDKs they were building against before. Remove the
sdk_version declarations and start inheriting the defaults which
specifies the correct sdk_version (among other things).

Explicitly disable api lint for graphics
...
It needs a baseline or checked in prior API in order not to produce
errors, but it's holding up an upstream CL that turns API lint on
everywhere from submitting right now.

Create a version_script to explicitly define exported symbols for libhwui
...
The linker script defines both the C and C++ headers exported by libhwui
and libskia (included via whole_static_libs). Reducing the surface
area makes it clear what libhwui's external dependencies are as well
as reducing the binary size by about ~12% (1.04 MB on 64-bit and 789KB
on 32-bit builds for the Pixel 3a in userdebug).
